Step 3: Manufacturing Process

After your confirmation, the CAD design file will enter the 3D printing or precision engraving stage.

3D Printing: Used to generate wax models with precise dimensions, subsequently cast into precious metals like 14K gold, 18K gold, or platinum using the "lost-wax casting method" (also known as precision casting).

Precision Engraving: Suitable for works with fine patterns but relatively flat overall structures.

Next comes the finishing stage, mainly involving:

Repairing defects;

Shaping, welding metal parts;

Preliminary polishing of cast parts;

Assembly of jewelry components, etc.

After metal castings undergo filing and pre-finishing to remove rough edges, they move onto the setting process—one of the most delicate and crucial steps in the entire manufacturing process, responsible for securely setting main stones and accent stones into their respective settings.

If the design includes assembly, manufacturing, and gemstone setting among other processes, the final polishing occurs after setting, ensuring the metal surface achieves a mirror-like shine.

Lastly, we use laser marking equipment to engrave text at designated locations, leaving a unique mark on your piece.

Step 4: Quality Inspection

To ensure the high quality of the final product, our design team not only conducts comprehensive inspections of the final product but also implements strict quality control at each stage of production. This is an indispensable part of creating a perfect piece.

Quality inspection includes:

Checking the craftsmanship quality of each prong and setting;

Confirming whether the gems are securely set;

Inspecting the metal surface finishing effects, such as satin finish, matte, high polish, hand-carved, or machine-carved finishes, etc.
